G-Eazy Releases The Beautiful & Damned

G-Eazy‘s new album, The Beautiful & Damned, drops this December along with an Apple-exclusive short film. Split between his "angels" and "demons," the album's songs explore both the better and the baser instincts of the Bay Area native in no uncertain terms. As we press further into late-stage capitalism, that sentiment resonates more deeply than ever. We can be financially flush while sinking into unhappiness, concurrently. Mental-health issues and drug use are rampant. We got exactly what we wanted—and it did nothing to fill the emptiness within.
